It is a long time since Yaakov and Esav quarrelled over their father Yitzchak. They now meet again and make peace -
Making Peace
Talk about making up and saying sorry using a paper plate puppet.
You need two paper plates and a stick or spatula. Before Shabbat ask a child to child draw a sad/sorry face on one plate and a happy/glad face on the second. Sandwich the stick between the two plates, which are back to back, and use glue or tape to attach the plates to the stick.
With the children sitting in a circle each child holds the sad face up to the centre and will say, for example, they are sorry for fighting with their brother, then turn the puppet to the happy side and say they are happy that now they've made up
