On May 1 Britain goes to the polls.
For the first time British
citizens living abroad can (for a limited period after they left Britain) also
vote in their old constituencies.
The 'Friends of Israel' of the 3 main
parties have given us their party's policies on Israel & domestic Jewish
matters. Areas covered include:
- British links with Israel
- Attitudes to the Middle East peace process
- Holocaust denial
- Racism
- Immigration
- Education
- Shechita
Our thanks to (in party alphabetic order):
- Stuart Pollock Executive Director,
Conservative Friends of Israel
- Nick Cosgrove Executive Director, Labour
Friends of Israel
- David Lerner Secretary, Liberal
Democrat Friends of Israel

As in past elections, neo-Nazi parties are planning to stand in some
constituencies.
As share of the poll is calculated in terms of votes
cast if any fascist/racist parties are standing where you have a vote, please
ensure that you, your family & friends vote for one of the democratic
parties - so that the Nazi share of the poll is kept as low as possible &
thus help to ensure that they lose their deposits.
